Our experienced staff of 15 includes some employees that have worked for Astro Chrome for more than 40 years, offering a level of experience and craftmanship only available through experience. Plating companies are only as good as their staff, and we have the finest and most experienced plating staff available.

In the 1970's the State of California started implementing sticter and stricter air quality guidelines to improve the air quality of Southern California residents. These regulations make the art of plating even more involved and precise. Astro has been in the forefront of compliance with all of these regulations since their conception, passing regular inspections - sometimes per week - from the many agencies including the AQMD, City and Countiy of Los Angeles, the Fire Department, etc.

We pride ourselves on our FAIR MARKET PRICING. Many shops charge more for comparable or lesser quality work. We also do museum-quality plating for priceless antiques, art and automobiles, requiring significant labor and expertise at considerably higher rates, but we don't charge more just because our competitors do (and some Southern California plating shops charge 2-3 times more than we do for identical work).
